Dear Current ALCS Families,
Greetings to you in Christ! We hope this finds you and your family well, and we are grateful that you have chosen to continue your children’s educational journey with us at Alta Loma Christian School.
In recent years, our school has grown to its highest enrollment in school history. Classrooms and programs are alive with learning, charitable giving is strong, and we continue to be a leader as a faith-based STEM school for our children and their finest future.
As we continue our journey as the ALCS Family, I want you to know you and your children are loved and treasured. The relationships we have nurtured together have grown and undergirded our unique school culture where care, encouragement, and exemplary education are genuine traits we daily share.
Due to the high-achieving performance of our students and staff- and the blessings and favor of God- our school continues to be honored and respectful at local, state, and national levels. This reputation has resulted in steady and increasing interest by prospective new families hoping to attend ALCS, even though many of our classes have been full with waiting lists at various points throughout the past several school years
Because of this, we feel it is important to offer you-as a current ALCS family-the opportunity to take advantage of priority registration before open enrollment begins. Returning Family Priority Reenrollment for the 2024-2025 school year begins on Tuesday, January 23rd, on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be online only. Registration will no be accepted before that date and time.
This is crucial for families to understand, because it means that even during the Returning Family Priority Reenrollment period, a seat is not secured for next year until ALL 3 steps have been completed. in other words, we expect that some classes will fill and start waiting lists even before new family registration begins the night of Open House on Thursday, February 15th, due to limited classroom space and shifting enrollment per grade level.
Registration Discount Period
While registration will be increasing for the first time in many years, returning families that register on or before Thursday, February 15, 2024 will receive a $100 per student discount off of the regular registration fee! (This means a registration fee of $300 rather than $400-a maximum of $550 per family-if you complete your registration on or before February 15.)
However, once again, please note that open enrollment for new families will begin the evening of Thursday, February 15. which is the date of this year's Open House. At that time, any seats not already taken by returning families will be made available to new families, continuing on a first-come, first-served basis until all seats are taken.
Reenrollment Steps
Re-enrollment forms will be accepted online on Tuesday, January 23rd after 7:30 am. All steps below must be completed to retain your child's spot for the 2024-2025 school year: Please reach out to Mrs. Olivia Cleland at [email protected] with any questions about the enrollment process, or call the school office at (909) 989-2804.
STEP 1
Financial Agreement: Download, complete and submit the Financial Agreement [email protected]. Enrollment is accepted in the order it is received. If a sibling is registering for the first time, please include his/her name and birthday on the Financial Agreement as well. Instructions to register new students are included below. Processing may take up to 3 business days, as they are processed in the order they are received.
STEP 2
Payment: After the financial agreement is processed you will receive an invoice via email within 3 business days to pay the registration/re-enrollment fee. You may pay that directly online for your child(ren) who will be re-enrolling for the 2024-2025 school year. Payment must be paid within 3 business days of receiving your invoice. Pleade check your spam if you have not seen this invoice after 3 days.
Updating SIS FACTS (Student Information System) : After payment, you will receive an email with a link and instructions to update your child’s SIS FACTS online enrollment account. You may upload any grade-level required health documents through your child’s SIS FACTS online enrollment or turn them in to the school office as soon as possible. All health documents must be submitted prior to the first day of school.
Required Health Documents
- Kindergarten: Proof of Kindergarten immunizations that meet the state requirement and proof of a health examination by a physician.
- First Grade: Proof of a health examination by a physician. Required by law for students entering first grade.
- Seventh Grade: Proof of Seventh grade Tdap immunization and 2 Varicella — required by law for Seventh Grade entrance.
