We had the honor of showing Jesus' hands and feet this past Wednesday. Together, putting our hands and feet to the plow by co-laboring our love to serve, heal, and aid those in need in our world today.
Our ALCS parents generously donated supplies, and our amazing students put each item into the backpacks with care. It was wonderful to watch our students take pride in their contributions, knowing that they were making a difference in the lives of those affected by the recent events in Maui.
As the backpacks were filled with much-needed items such as toiletries, non-perishable food, and essential supplies, our community was filled with a sense of unity and compassion. In the face of tragedy, we were able to come together and support the families who are suffering in Maui. In the end, the packing of the backpacks for the Maui relief drive brought the ALCS community closer together. We were able to turn a tragedy into an opportunity to help and showed that, when we come together, we can make a real difference in the world.
Thank you to our second through eighth grade classes for doing such an outstanding job with their service projects. We could not have done this without each grade level gathering the goods required for this drive, beginning with:
- 2nd Grade (socks and underwear)
- 3rd Grade (flip flops all size)
- 4th Grade (blankets)
- 5th Grade (towels)
- Middle School (Hygiene Kits)
Thank you ALCS families for your contribution and donations towards our ALCS Maui drive. Your generosity and support have helped make a difference in the lives of those affected by the recent wildfires in Maui.
We are grateful for your willingness to come together as a community to help those in need. As always, your kindness and compassion inspire us and reinforce our commitment to serving others. Thanks again for your contributions and for being a part of the ALCS family.
