ALCS Tech Fair
The Tech Fair is a great opportunity for students in grades 2-8 to join their artistic and creative skills with technology-based tools to produce original creations that display the unique talents and abilities of God’s children. Students who participate in the Tech Fair are encouraged to present creations that not only showcase their own abilities, but also provide opportunities to collaborate, encourage each other, and develop ideas to serve the local community, all in the spirit of God’s grace and compassion for His people.
Students who enter the Tech Fair may choose to submit a new creation or a previously created project, as long as it is the student's own original work and falls into one of the categories below. All submitted projects will be presented on Showcase Day in the ALCS computer lab, during which different classes can visit the showcase and see the creative works of our Tech Fair participants.
Several awards are given out at a later chapel and are based on not only the project itself, but also collaboration, communication, and feedback between the students and lead teachers throughout the creation process that demonstrate the students' perseverance, challenges, and problem-solving skills.
