Parent Prayer Team

In today’s extremely busy world, Alta Loma Christian School realizes the importance of prayer, and the importance of having a group of people with which to stay connected for support and fellowship. Every Tuesday morning, a group of ALCS parents meets in the bridal room (in the church building) at 8:00am for coffee and fellowship, and devotions/prayer at 8:20. Everyone is welcome to come and pray for our school, families, staff, and anyone else who needs to be lifted up.

During the 2016-2017 school year, the Parent Prayer Team will be reading a chapter each week from The Battle Plan for Prayer by Stephen and Alex Kendrick. This writing on prayer was inspired by the recent film War Room which has encouraged many to make prayer an important tool in spiritual warfare. In the weekly devotional printout there will be highlights from the week’s chapter reading, quotations on prayer, and Scriptures to embolden our prayer life. Most of all, it is God’s Word that will speak to our hearts and minds. It is our desire for you to be encouraged in your walk with the Lord as we discuss prayer and its power in our lives. God’s Word says that those who call upon him, he will answer, he will be with them in trouble, he will deliver them and honor them (Paraphrased from Psalm 91:15).

If you are unable to make it for prayer time but have a prayer request or praise report you would like added to the parent prayer list, you may download a prayer request card and submit it to the school office, or use the form below to submit your request/praise directly and confidentially to our Parent Prayer Team leader, Mrs. Charlotte Hubbard.
